Listening to MP3 Audio

If the site-included media player doesn't work for you, you will need some type of media player on your computer (such as Windows Media Player or QuickTime) and speakers for your PC (internal, external or earphones). The good news is that most audio playing software is free and ear-phones or speakers are inexpensive. (external speakers plug into the sound card port on your PC)

A benefit of using an external media player is that the audio will usually keep playing while you navigate to other pages (vs. having to open another instance of the browser).

It's also helpful to set up your browser to "stream" media - which simply means that large files will start playing while they are still being downloaded.

Another good thing to know - right-clicking on a MP3 link will allow you to save the MP3 file to a folder on your PC. (use the "Save Target As" option)
